Dear friends and family, As some of you may have already heard I have finally released my second album titled "RAW DEVOTION". This 8 track album is very different from the first album ("SO CLOSE") that was produced by Sean Szutka and released in 2013. While my first album featured talented artists such as Maury LaFoy (Sarah Harmer, Jann Arden, Kathleen Edwards), Michelle Willis (David Crosby), Lyle Molzan (Sarah Slean), Julian Taylor, and David Celia, "RAW DEVOTION" is true to its name. It's raw and real. All of the vocals and instrumentation for each track was composed, arranged and recorded by me (with the exception of "Thank You", "How Can We Love Like You", and "Tired" in which the talented Ian Turner added bass, keys, strings, electric and acoustic guitar, percussion and BG vocals). I purposely didn't autotune or edit any of my vocal takes or instrumentation. I wanted to give the listener the feeling of being right there with me in my recording studio room. The lyrics and dynamics of each song articulate both the inner joy & deep gratitude and the frustration & weariness that I experience as I grow and mature in my faith.
