WHY I CREATED THIS WORKSHOP?

After graduating from a Fitness Nutrition Expert program, I became more interested in finding out what was specifically going on with my body and mind. 

 

Because despite eating healthy and working out, I was gaining weight, specifically abdominal weight.

And I wanted to know why! I wanted to know why I was experiencing more joint pain and muscle aches despite taking tumeric, magnesium, Vitamin C, and stretching after workouts. And I wanted to know why I was experiencing more than normal irritability, mood swings, and fatigue despite getting 7-9 hours of sleep each night.

 

As I began researching my mystery symptoms I learned something I never knew....

I had entered the Perimenopause years!

 

Perimenopause is defined as the 1 to 10 year span that leads up to Menopause. 

 

I discovered that my changing hormone levels had been causing weight gain, joint and muscle pain, and many other symptoms that I thought could only be associated with Menopause. The realization that I could be experiencing menopausal symptoms before I even stopped menstruating made me want to dig much deeper and learn as much as I could for my Gospel Praise Fitness clients and for any other woman who was interested.

 

After talking with many other women who are in the Perimenopause, Menopause, and Post-Menopause years,

I learned that many of us are still in the dark and don't fully understand what is going on

with our minds and bodies during these transitional phases of life.

 

I felt called to create a comprehensive holistic health information workshop that will educate, empower, and enable women to thrive, not just survive the Perimenopause, Menopause, and Post-Menopause years. 

So....time for you to ask yourself some questions....
